How to judge a carpet cleaning provider yourself
We do not publish reviews here yet. Real reviews will be added later with a link to their public source. Until then, here is how to judge any provider before you hire them.
Do your homework
What to look for in a review.
Check reviews on public sites
Look for the provider on sites such as Google, HomeStars and the BBB. Read recent reviews and look at how the provider replies to complaints.
Ask about insurance and licences
Ask whether they hold liability insurance, WorkSafeBC coverage if they have workers, and a City of Richmond business licence where required.
Get a written quote
A good quote lists rooms or items, extras such as stairs or stain treatment, any travel charge and the total. Compare quotes on the same terms.
Ask how the work is done
Ask which method they will use on your carpet or fabric, how long it takes to dry and what they do if a stain remains.
Be careful with very low prices
A very low headline price may exclude hallways, stairs or stains. Ask what is not included before you agree.
